CoolHunters

When British April showers turned into May showers, when you haven’t experience prolonged (more than one hour) sunshine in more than a month, and when (on a more positive note) the festival season is around the corner, you know there is only one thing to do – shop for new wellington boots! In my mind there is only one brand out there that is not just utilitarian but also super cool – Hunter. I myself invested into red Hunter for Jimmy Choo a few seasons ago and have never regretted my decision. But now that it feels like we need wellies not just for festival and out-in-the-country wear, I was looking for something just as practical and fashionable yet less ‘out there’ as my red pair. And I found just the right ones! Shoreditch Ladies Biker Hunters, £95 (my-wardrobe.com). Their short length makes them city friendly, metal plate and buckle makes them luxurious yet tough and a whole resemblance with leather biker boots makes me fall in love with them even more. I don’t know about you, but for me they are the most perfect Hunters ever made. (Cash register sound).
Mango Maxis

The spring has sprung. Hence it is time to find spring buys that can help once and for all leave the wintery outfits behind and recharge our wardrobes. This time I turn to Mango for help updating the skirt selection. I have spoken volumes about midi pleated skirts a few weeks ago (read more here) but it does not mean we have to wave goodbye to pleats of different lengths. Maxis are still full on trend this season so I found four perfect spring must-haves by Mango.
1 and 3 (£44.99) are perfect to add the pastel trend to your wardrobe – wear them by day with your favourite cotton tee or combine with complementing pastel colour silk tops and statement necklaces for totally fashionable evening wear.
2 (£39.99) is a total find – this is the rock chic solution to spring romanticism: black with leathery finish yet strangely feminine, you wont regret this buy.
4 (£49.99) has a denim feel to it yet is light and perfect even for the hottest day of the year – match with your favourite Converse or Superga trainers for a sporty feel.
Lock Me, Louis Vuitton

You can’t buy love. Yet some symbols of love can indeed be purchased. And throughout history jewellery was top pick on the list as a present that symbolises deep feelings (or in modern day symbolises something more along the lines of ‘I’m sorry I had an affair’). Ever since the release of Cartier Love collection, it has been the go to range for those kind of presents but now Louis Vuitton Lock Me collection has entered the game at a lower price range. Romantic symbolism of locks, keys and hearts plus the design of the buckle that is LV through and through – what more could you possibly want!
Available in up to 4 colours (Amarante, Ecaille, Black and Pomme d’Amor) the prices are as follows: pendant £340, bracelet £340, ring £180 and earrings £270.
The IT Fabric of the Season

If you are not wearing it yet, you are too far behind. Seriously.
It’s Velvet. Very old fashioned I hear you say? Well in fashion it all comes back around. And yes I agree, I am not fashionista enough to engulf myself in velvet from head to toe either. And if you do not have a velvet skirt or cardigan lying around than follow my lead and select garments with hint of velvet.
Like this beautiful Asos shirt with velvet trim and crystal embellished collar (attention is on the collar as well – another trend box this shirt ticks). I am wearing one right now. And my advise – make it more decent by adding a black tank top or camisole underneath. That way you can wear it to work too!
Purchase it from http://www.asos.com for £40.
Stack It Up!

Everyone loves their bracelet stacks at the moment. I am not the biggest bracelet girl in the World, but now that I am planning my US holiday wardrobe, I am planning to join in and create my own bracelet stack by picking out my old ones from (the very extensive) jewellery box and adding a few new ones as well.
This ChloBo Summer Love Large Black Bead & Turquoise Peace Bracelet is a perfect addition! Contrasting colours, large beads and of course a peace sign – no bracelet stack can go without one.
If turquoise is not your colour others are available and priced at £35 – 40. This particular one is £40 from http://www.rumpusresort.com. Happy Stacking!
My love for Mulberry Peace & Love

Bayswater. This classic IT bag was what always came to my mind when I heard ‘Mulberry’ (before the creation of Alexa of course). This season the bag was reinvented. It suddenly became very cool with the addition of Peace & Love charms. I can just see the bag migrating from the arms of business ladies to fashionistas, not that one person can’t be both of course. The only obstacle to successful migration – £3500 price tag. But if anything is worth investing into, its Mulberry beauties!
It feels like Mulberry can do no wrong now – the brand witnessed phenomenal growth despite the recession all based on a series of stunning bags. I own two Mulberry creations myself, and they are my personal favourites! One of them is an Oversized Tillie in Snake Print, star of last season that featured in the print campaign. This is why I am also very excited about new materials Tillie is made of this season. To see the full range go to http://www.mulberry.com/#/storefront/
Jimmy Choo Kerfield Shoe Boots

Meet Kerfield Shoe Boot. My favourite piece of the Autumn/Winter 11 Jimmy Choo collection.
Generally, I am obsessed with Jimmy Choo. After all the different shoes I wore over the years that made me feel like I would rather walk bare foot across hot coal just after a few hours, Jimmy Choo is a find. I am sure it all depends on foot shape and some would find Christian Louboutin shoes comfortable (even though he himself does not believe his shoes are made for comfort). Nevertheless I have been converted – all my shoe investments for the last year have been into Jimmy Choo’s. For me its not just buying a beautifully crafted piece of shoe art, it is buying something I could wear and not want to take off!
This new shoe boot has so much to offer – platform, killer heal, a choice of blue or black colour.. I would not think twice about buying this shoe but a £650 price tag means for now, the only place those shoes can take in my life is on my wish list.
