If you are ever looking for a classic and luxurious handbag with quality to last you a lifetime, look no further than the handbags worth a real Queen, the ones so often seen on the hand of Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth. Worn to main state appearances including wedding of Will and Catherine, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge(below left) those handbags made to order by British designer brand Launer have become Queen’s go to accessory. And now the classic collection that featured leather handbags in traditional colours with gold hardware is expanding its palette to feature bold fashionable colours that are likely to attract a much younger hipper customer. Indeed I would not refuse one of these myself, how lovely would it be to have one in, say, pink to take with you to afternoon tea with the girls or dinner with partner’s family. So yes, thanks to completely revamped colour collection, Launer is landing itself on My Fashion Wish List, and I think I am not the only one to want a handbag adorned with royal nod of approval. The only problem – most Launer bags are still made to order and will take 2-3 weeks to be delivered to your door, so plan your purchase in advance. Take a look at the classic range here with styles worn by the Queen starting at £1020, the new range will appear there shortly.

I am absolutely in love with this Diane Von Furstenberg Sporty New Drew bag! At the first look it seems luxurious with its exotic skin embossed leather but with the addition of neon pink strap it acquires currently trending sport luxe feel. This is by far the best handbag interpretation of the trend I have seen so far! Hats off for DVF for getting it so right and making it so desirable. Indeed the fashion house has been going through serious rebranding for a number of years – once famous in 70’s for feminine printed wrap dresses it has once again risen to the fashion heights it deserves becoming a lifestyle brand that offers a wide range of goods from ready-to-wear collections to home accessories! And this bag with its youthful and on-trend approach is another great example of the success story of rebirth of DVF! Purchase your own from dvf.com or matchesfashion.com for £654.

Out of all the jewellery out there, my biggest obsession is by far bracelets. And once again I found myself lusting after new addition to Anthropologie.eu – bejeweled leather Fori bracelets by Italian designer brand Rada. Crystals, stones and beads are glamorous by nature but here are juxtaposed with simple clasp and utilitarian leather base. And I think that is exactly what makes me love them – simplicity and extravagance side by side never looked so tempting! It is definitely hard to make decision on what version I prefer: multi-coloured is the most versatile yet yellow and orange add the ultimate colour burst to any outfit. Due to multipurposeness (I am not sure that is even a word but adding -ness at the end makes sense, right?) of multi-colour creation it gets my top pick! Make your choice and head to Anthropologie website to purchase yours for £118.

I love discovering new brands. And this week my find came from thecorner.com. There I came across an Italian bag range created by a talented lady Benedetta Bruzziches whose sewing techniques passed down to her from her mother (I am always in awe of craftsman families who preserve their skills for generations to come).
My pick from the collection are two beautiful and perfectly crafted leather bags (£520 each) – completely identical in shape the two could not be less similar in their feel. Moss green bag on the left has a vintage feel and reminds me of luxurious upholstered and quilted sofas from late 18th century while bright snake skin bag on the left could not be more contemporary – it fits well with current season’s trend of bright and patterns!
Here is my find of the week! Have you discovered a new brand worth sharing recently? If so comment below, I will blog about it and give you a special shout out!

‘Is it possible for a Chinese company to build a worldwide brand?’ is the title of many marketing papers and is a popular topic for deliberation. Indeed with the overwhelming negative attitude surrounding ‘Made in China’ label, many assume that it would be a while before a truly popular brand can emerge out of China. Surprisingly, it might be the realm of fashion that sees the above claim overturned. Indeed for the last year one high street fashion brand from China has been experiencing very fast growth by looking for support from style bloggers, support that it has been receiving in bundles. Indeed if you read a few street style blogs you must have come across Romwe – fashionable and affordable online brand that designs and manufactures its range in China and offers free worldwide shipping. A tempting proposition indeed since the quality of Chinese production is higher than many assume – most of the technologies used in clothing manufacturing are identical to expensive European designer items, some of which have a portion of its production in Asia.
I decided to explore the website to see what the style blogs loved about the brand: I was on lookout for truly trendy items that fit an international fashionable customer and I found a bundle. For example I absolutely love the range of shirts with contrasting detailing (collars and cuffs) and here are my top six picks, all in a very affordable price range:
- Montage PU Lapel Silver-Tone Blouse, £22.22
- Paillette Embellished Fake Twin-Set Nude-Pink Shirt, £22.88
- Leopard Print Chiffon Shirt, £17.65
- Off Shoulder White Shirt, £20.92
- Oversized Splicing PU Star Black Shirt, £24.18
- Paillette Lapel Black Chiffon Shirt, £20.26
I have to be truthful though, while level of trendiness of the clothing is high there are a few things that Romwe should work on to satisfy high demands of international consumer, which of course requires a large financial investment (possibly unachievable at the time yet important enough to be prioritised in the future): items photography is not uniform or of the highest quality which leads to underselling the garments, product names are slightly misleading (second shirt in my selection is referred to by ‘fake twin-set’ leaving me to guess what it’s meant to mean), ‘about us’ page needs major work – it’s not doing the idea or the website justice and requires a few reads to gasp the content leading me to an overall point about the need to work harder on any written material as words like ‘stuff’ should not be used when referred to products, let alone in the description on the home page.
All in all I have to say a very good effort, the kind that can be easily seen in growing sales figure. I have a feeling the brand will do very well in the future, especially if some alterations to the website are made to ensure even the toughest international customer is satisfied with the experience.

This Sunday post is not about a trend or a selection of items. This post is just about one very special bag that caught my eye. It is called Janice Shoulder Bag and it is created by a Raoul. Raoul is a fast growing international designer label that started as a mens shirt company and grew to male and female ready to wear and accessories brand that has been showing at New York and Paris Fashion Weeks and is starting to build a celebrity following (Oscars parties saw Kourtney Kardashian and Viola Davis wearing Raoul).
But back to the bag – made from hard yet incredibly smooth leather this rigid shaped bag with statement closure is just perfection. Simple yet luxurious it has some YSL feel to it yet it comes without the hefty price tag. All in all I developed a crush and decided that I am going to tackle spring summer season with one of those on my arm – maybe it will be to me like glass slipper to Cinderella? You just never know, but if you need that little confidence boost why not invest into some beautiful arm candy to carry around with you?
Get your one on Selfridges (instore or online) for £287. And if white is not your colour there is also a brown version. Plus to add more excitement you can go for the snake skin effect texture in black and taupe for £310.

But this project is different: the process of purchasing is not what you are used too. To access the online shop you have to fill in a questionnaire that determines your style. But do not worry, it is easy – all you have to do is decide what picture is more ‘you’ and after less than a minute you are on the results page. Here is where you can shop the shoe range – but not all results are shown, only those that suit your style.
This interesting concept is already adopted by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen T-shirt line, Jessica Simpson Beauty range and soon to be adopted by our own Cheryl Cole – she is unveiling her shoe collection on 6th December (more of which in the later blog post). I am not 100% sure I am ready to shop only the pre-selected range, but nevertheless I am ready to give it a go.
Above is my favourite shoe from the collection – The Pauline in Wine Suede. And the price – $79.99 (about £50).
