Clarice Price Thomas

Jewellery. So often it is the subject of MyFashionWishList posts I am thinking of soon renaming this blog MyJewelleryWishList. But then again what girl does not dream of jewellery? Clothes, shoes and bags, those we can buy for ourselves, but jewellery, especially of the more expensive kind seems to appear less on our bank statements, staying firmly in the wish list zone. So, just for your wish lists, girlies, I have another jewellery brand worth taking a look at. Meet Clarice Price Thomas and her eponymous London-based jewellery brand. Her collection is inspired by time pieces, thanks to her father being a watchmaker, and comes in a variety of materials including solid gold with diamonds. The pieces are made to order and can take up to three weeks but are definitely worth the wait thanks to results being so refined and captivating. I am a particular fan of engraved items that come with a choice of three phrases: Time Never Stops, A Moment in Time and Till the End of Time. Pick your own and make it memorable (or drop enough hints to your other half, Christmas is just around the corner).

My Perfect Watch
March 12, 2012 § 1 Comment
I am really not a watch person. I have a few, and they are beautiful and I love wearing them. Like once a month. But wearing watches on daily basis just isn’t my thing. Yet this time I am trying to change – watches are useful, especially when your phone runs out of battery and you are not in a good enough mood to engage random passer by in time related conversation.
So I was thinking what characteristics should a watch have to convert me. I had to start by considering what watch do I like the most out of the once I have? And no it is not the most expensive one. It’s actually a very old watch my grandpa used to wear all the time and then gave it to me because I loved it so much. It is retro through and through and it was manufactured in USSR way before I was born – metal strap, digital display, little battery which is being hold in place by a piece of sellotape. I love it. Hence I just have to go for a retro looking watch. Also it has to be fashionable and comfortable on the wrist.
And then I found it. My prefect Timex. First of all it is super retro. It is also very comfortable: it has a soft strap and is very light. And then it’s cool pastel colour makes it a perfect fashion accessory for this season. So here it is, yours for only £39. Who said perfection has to be expensive?
Get a (Time) Piece of Jeremy Scott

Some designers create wearable collections, some create art. Jeremy Scott definitely falls into the latter category.
But it is not his one-leg trouser pieces that I want to draw your attention to. Jeremy just collaborated with Swatch and created a range of very special watches. And they have Jeremy Scott written all over it: cool, arty and very different.
This one above is my favourite – the double strap Punk watch in bold colours and animal print. There is hardly a more stand-out-from-the-crowd watch out there at the moment.
The best bit – its price. Get your hands on this time piece for just £38 from www.eu-shop.swatch.com.
