Marni for H&M

The time has arrived for the brand new H&M collaboration with Marni to be revealed. Original patterns, amazing silk pieces, to die for jewellery – I can not wait till 8th March to update my closet with a handful of items. By far my favourite are the silk creation – bright shorts, pajama styled shirts and trousers (trend alert!) and even silk cardigans: those items will be unique on high street. But also, unlike the Versace for H&M predecessor, Marni jewelery creations are worth paying attention to: statement necklaces, colourful earrings and oversized bracelets that scream high fashion. The only items I am not impressed with are sandals, which look too masculine and bulky and anything in brown and green tribal print – the kind of print that despite uniqueness just does not look stylish enough. All in all though, I am excited as there is a whole range of items I absolutely love! This will go down in history as one of the best collaborations for H&M.
Indeed the success of the team up could be predicted by looking at the great turn out at the launch party which saw stars like Drew Barrymore, Freida Pinto, Winona Ryder and Mila Jovovich showcase the designs. TaDa! I have a new jewellery obsession and this time it is from US. nOIr is an American jewellery label which caught my eye with its beautiful rings. My favourite is an elaborate design of Gotham City ($225) pictured above. But I also can not take my eyes of Russian Dolls and multicoloured crystal rings featuring various animals($50 – $300). Highest quality and fun designs – what more can we want? That is why it is a shame there is very limited availability of nOIr in UK. I managed to find beautiful gold bangles on http://www.spoiledbrat.com. They are engraved with a choice of “I AM SUPERGIRL” or “THE ORIGINAL” and are currently sold with a 70% discount making them just £24 instead of £80! Let me know if you come across any other pieces!

Tatty Devine oozes cool. A grassroot DIY company that is quickly becoming a world wide brand based on unlimited creative power – there is hardly a cooler success story. And most of the jewellery is still handmade in Britain (as has been since the beginning in 1999). So its cool and British. Even better.
I love the customisable Perspex name (nickname, favourite book, place etc – just use your imagination) necklaces – a modern twist to Carrie Bradshaw’s Carrie necklace. And if you want to add a cheeky twist to your look why not try cartoon eyes pair rings(£30)? And if that is not enough and since it is M(N)ovember and hardly any of us (females) can boast of being able to grow our own moustache why not support the male activists by wearing a wooden one on a chain? £27 is a low price to pay for men’s health awareness.

Maybe its the grey weather or just usual mid season blues but I want some fun back in my day to day dress routine. And that is where Me & Zena comes in. Jewels of Tory Burch

i just recently discovered that apart from the most amazing flat shoes called Reva and a range of very cool bags Tory Burch also has a jewellery line. I am impressed, especially with this cute leather animal print cuff. It would look great as a part of a bracelet stack that graces the arms of many celebrities and jewellery lovers because its so different(both the shape and texture).
To tell you the truth I am not a massive bracelet fan – they just always seems to get in the way. Nevertheless I can definitely see myself occasionally wearing this one – it can be a key piece of the outfit hence deserving of a place on my arm.
