Current Jewellery Obsession: Me & Zena
November 7, 2011 § Leave a comment
Maybe its the grey weather or just usual mid season blues but I want some fun back in my day to day dress routine. And that is where Me & Zena comes in. A London based jewellery brand created by Zena Mckeown is as fun as it gets. Here are my favoruite necklaces and reasons why I looooove them. Visit http://www.meandzena.com and you wont be disappointed.
1. Geek Glasses Necklace in Gold as worn by Fearne Cotton (on sale for £7). I adore geek glasses and love the idea of wearing them on a chain!
2. Love-O-Meter Necklace as worn by Pixies Lott on magazine cover of Sugar (£9). Who does not love a bit of ‘He loves me, he loves me not’? Plus it adds some colour to the outfit!
3. Love Bites Vampire Teeth Necklace (£14). Perfect to get ready for the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn premier. Even if you are not a vampire movie fan – as soon as the movie comes out there will be no escape from TwiHearts and vampire memorabilia. So you might as well play along.
Statement Tees by United Couture
November 5, 2011 § Leave a comment
We all want an easy going outfit for the weekend and there is nothing better than spicing up your comfiest look with a statement tee! I am always on a look out for new ones and my collection is huge! And currently I can’t take my eyes off United Couture – a community of artists that only joined together this year to create a fun brand that is inspired by retro Studio 54 and LA sun.
I absolutely love the statements – words to live by indeed! Shame in UK we can only get a limited range of what would be your favourite casual top. Go to http://www.spoiledbrat.com to get a 25% discount on all items above (it means only £33.74 each). Happy Weekend!
Never Fully Dressed
November 4, 2011 § 2 Comments
Never Fully Dressed is a brand to watch! Celebrities like Stacey Solomon and Fearne Cotton have been spotted wearing their clothes on a numerous occasions and their products have been published in various magazine editorials.
And even if you are not chasing after the celebrity endorsed goodies, you will just as easily fall in love with the clothes. For me, what makes them special is the simplicity of design (easy going pieces that you can pile on) as well as colour selection.
My two favourite pieces that represent the brand really well are the Ostrich Feather Waistcoat, £85 which comes in different shades of blue, purple, brown, green and black; and a Sheer Shirt/Blouse (as I once said that is the cool trend this season with a very odd name – Blirt) that is also available in varied colour and patters at £38. Both come in one size only which creates that relaxed feel of the outfit. Both have been styled with leather trousers, but if you are not ready to take that step why don’t you try wet look leggings instead?
Visit the website http://www.neverfullydressed.co.uk to brighten up your Autumn/Winter wardrobe. (Plus 100% profit from some of the items on offer goes to charity, like the profits from the purple shirt above).
Gucci – ‘New Bamboo’
November 2, 2011 § Leave a comment
Gucci and bamboo. There is nothing new in the combination as the label has been using the material for years. But the lack of surprise does not decrease the appeal.
Especially the appeal of Medium Top Handle Bag that was recreated with bamboo details. And as usual there is a wide choice of colour – purple grape, golden mettalic, silvery champagne, patent rose and even zebra print. But by far this royal blue leather stands out the most – a classic beauty that will be in fashion for years to come. The main attraction – I can see it looking great with anything from jeans based casual outfit to cocktail dress with heels.
And since it is certainly a multifunctional investment piece a £1370 price tag is a justifiable price to pay for Gucci’s must have handbag.
Breathtaking Prada Jewellery

It is not often that I am completely blown away. That was the moment. The unveiling of Prada Capsule Jewellery collection.
Chances are you have already seen some of the pieces from their Spring Summer 12 catwalk show – but soon we will have a chance to actually own them. By far my favourite is the pink gemstone and green leather rose range which features necklace, bracelet, ring and earrings. I must admit – I would not dare to wear all at once but without a doubt would create an outfit around one of those pieces, like the necklace above.
Its astonishing how beautiful and organic two very different components of the necklace look – I bet soon the high street will be full of leather and gemstone combination. Can not wait.
Online Outlet Special: The Outnet
October 31, 2011 § Leave a comment

The Outnet is in my opinion the king of all fashion outlets. And the reason is its creators – same team that brought the world http://www.net-a-porter.com. Apart from daily updates to the range, website hosts a series of fun online event like Pop Up sales, Going Going Gone auction sales and Give Aways.
My top 3 items have to be from the shoe range. There are so many great designers available but those particular items stole the show (especially after seeing how big the discount is). Here they are:
1. Alaia Leather Trimmed Python Platform Sandals at an astonishing 70% discount – £374. A definite statement pair of shoes. Hurry before they sell out, which will be fast fast fast!
2. Michael Kors Fringed Suede Boots at £193 instead of £553. A perfect way to add bohemian twist to your look.
3. Herve Leger Olechka Leather Ankle boots. The extent of their fabulousness is indescribable. (Hence the usage of a nonexistent word ‘fabulousness’). £260 which a is 60% sale. Want.them.now.
Go to http://www.outnet.com and indulge your inner shopaholic.
Online Outlet Special: Cocosa

My second online outlet favourite is http://www.COCOSA.com – a members only fashion outlet filled with exciting sale events. A highlight of this website – ability to preview sale items before the sale opens that makes you want to rush to your computer ever day at 7am to check up new offerings.
With a wide range of sales going on it was hard to pick my favourites (harder than deciding who to send home on this years X factor). Nevertheless here are my 3 finalists, I mean dresses, currently available online:
1. Jenny Packham Short Multi Sequin Dress at £462 which is an amazing 83% off (originally £2799). Luxurious statement piece that I would not mind wearing (to say the least) for the upcoming winter holidays celebrations.
2. Felder Felder Vessna Dress – a beautiful cotton pastel dress with abstract pattern, perfect for taking you from day to night. Currently at £128 which is a 70% discount.
3. Emma Cook silk printed jewel dress would look great with chunky ankle boots – at £159 which is a great 52% off.
Visit the website to see more deals like Stephen Webster Jewellery and clothing range by Milly.
Online Outlet Special: Secret Sales

As a part of my online fashion outlet special I pick my favourite items from top outlets in order to show you that they can be very fashionable and often not last season at all.
http://www.SECRETSALES.com is a great outlet website founded in 2007 that offers daily sale events for members only. Samsonite discount is one of the current highlights (I must admit to my love for Samsonite – the quality is superb, no other suitcase brand I had is so durable) but I just had to show case my favourite items from a great luxury handbag sale:
1. Dolce and Gabbana Star Print Shoulder Tote in Black at £520 – a 26% markdown of a current season item with a hottest print. And its not just what on the outside that counts as I absolutely love the contrasting animal print lining.
2. Classic Fendi Roll Bag with a cool twist of patent Leopard Print – £408 at a 32% discount.
And the best thing about the website is that it offers so much more that just bags, shoes and apparel. Its lifestyle range includes home goods and discounted holidays. Enjoy!
Thigh High
October 29, 2011 § Leave a comment
Thigh high boots have recently reemerged as a new hot fashion item. And it is not just one brand – they are everywhere. Burberry has the pointy high heeled black leather boots, Dior made its biker boot into a thigh high (my favourite designer version, I must admit), Givenchy has a pointed Mary-Jane stretched jersey boots and Christian Louboutin has brown military-looking Chasse boots.
And while the designer versions mentioned above are absolutely stunning they will set you back by at least £800. So if you want to follow the hot trend on the budget I found a perfect Thigh High on the high street (on the picture above):
BUNNY2 PU Stretch Thigh High Boots in black for just £75 from http://www.topshop.com. Great size of the heel – not too high allowing comfortable wear for hours. Love, love, love!
Get a (Time) Piece of Jeremy Scott
October 26, 2011 § Leave a comment
Some designers create wearable collections, some create art. Jeremy Scott definitely falls into the latter category.
But it is not his one-leg trouser pieces that I want to draw your attention to. Jeremy just collaborated with Swatch and created a range of very special watches. And they have Jeremy Scott written all over it: cool, arty and very different.
This one above is my favourite – the double strap Punk watch in bold colours and animal print. There is hardly a more stand-out-from-the-crowd watch out there at the moment.
The best bit – its price. Get your hands on this time piece for just £38 from www.eu-shop.swatch.com.
