Celebrity Dress For a Fraction of the Price
September 21, 2011 § 2 Comments
Scarlett Johansson has been my celebrity style crush for a while. So while checking out one of my favourite ‘as seen on stars’ websites – http://www.mcberry.co.uk I came across the Glamorous Lace Dress section. And a few have been inspired by Scarlett!
Here is my pick – the green lacy strapless number (only my favourite dress shape of all time). Plus its green and lacy which goes very well with A/W 11 trends! Grazia team loves it too and featured it in their magazine. So if you want to boost your star power visit the website where this dress is available at £85.
The IT Balenciaga Bag is Back
September 21, 2011 § Leave a comment
The first time I have ever heard about the concept of IT bags it was associated with Balenciaga. Different sizes and colours of the bag were popular among stars and fashionistas alike season after season. But as expected after a (very long) while the interest died down and new colour schemes and shapes that were brought out could not reignite it.
Until now.
This season Balenciaga got ready for the cold months by changing leather to suede on this beautiful Velo Bag – and here I am again, desiring Balenciaga bag like I was about 5-6 years ago.
The studs, the tassels and the pocket mirror are still there – so despite the material change its Balenciaga through and through, just cooler and very ‘now’.
Available at http://www.net-a-porter.com for £945.
Wear a Message on Your Finger
September 1, 2011 § Leave a comment

Peace, Faith and Courage as well as a whole range of other inspirational messages can now be worn on your fingers with small silver rings from http://www.whatsabouttown.com for £12.95 each. I bet they will look good combined on just one finger or worn across the whole hand or simply as a singular ring (if you can pick the word that fits you best).
If those do not cut it, go to the web site – it is full of designer inspired and trend setting jewellery of high quality. Great choice and frequent updates on this website clearly show that fast fashion is not just about shoes and clothes any more!
Make Over of the Classic Satchel

I’ve got so much love for this cool twist to classic satchel from Urban Outfitters (Online exclusive – £48):
1. It is spacious – large enough for A4 notepad.
2. It is box shaped which is very trendy at the moment.
3. It is snakeskin which is the hottest pattern of the season.
4. It has a top handle and a strap that will fit on the shoulder leaving your hands free.
5. And it is red which means we can match it to our lipstick for some ‘notice-me-I-am-fabulous’ look.
I am sold. Seriously considering moving it from my wishlist to my wardrobe especially in preparation for US road trip. Will let you know if it makes the cut ( of course it will, thank God for next day delivery).
Not Just Wellies, LV Wellies!
August 29, 2011 § Leave a comment
What has everyone been talking about since LV Autumn/Winter show? The LV wellies of course! (LV would disagree with my terminology – they named this rubber creation Fetish High Boot.) Now they are available to buy and definitely deserve a place on my fashion wishlist.
They are absolutely perfect for London – unarguably the most fashionable way to step out into the rain. Previously it was all about Jimmy Choo and Hunter collaboration (I own a beautiful pair in red) but now the world of wellies has been improved by adding a high heel. Now wellies are ready to rock the urban environment.
Available in 3 colours – green, black and red for £630.
Plaid-Up for Autumn!
August 26, 2011 § 1 Comment
I am very much in love with Autumn/Winter 11 Celine collection – especially the blue/green plaids. Of course this being my fashion wishlist I can just add those items and talk in volumes about Celine and the coolest plaid trousers ever. But I would rather show an item that is definitely making it from the wishlist to my wardrobe – American Apparel Celine inspired Chiffon oversized blouse.
It is awesome. Not only does it do justice to the plaid trend it is also a massive fab of this season – it is a perfect BLIRT (i.e. blouse and shirt, I would rather abstain from using fashion language but I just love the word!) And apart from being on trend it is also very multipurpose – wear with a skirt, leggings, jeans, jeggings (you saw it coming), as a dress, a night gown, roll the sleeves up, tie the bottom up etc. Who would not spare £52 for such an investment? (Plus it is currently on promotion and you get £4 of when you spend £50 by entering BTS1 code on the check out).
P.S. Happy Bank Holiday Weekend!
Stack It Up!

Everyone loves their bracelet stacks at the moment. I am not the biggest bracelet girl in the World, but now that I am planning my US holiday wardrobe, I am planning to join in and create my own bracelet stack by picking out my old ones from (the very extensive) jewellery box and adding a few new ones as well.
This ChloBo Summer Love Large Black Bead & Turquoise Peace Bracelet is a perfect addition! Contrasting colours, large beads and of course a peace sign – no bracelet stack can go without one.
If turquoise is not your colour others are available and priced at £35 – 40. This particular one is £40 from http://www.rumpusresort.com. Happy Stacking!
Oversized Knits Are So In!
August 23, 2011 § Leave a comment
Michael Kors, Stella McCartney and YSL are just a few brands that featured oversized knits in their Autumn/Winter 11 collections. But if we want to go for a cheaper option, this jumper by French Connection is THE go to item! Currently at reduced price of £39 and all the sizes available online, it is absolutely irresistible and a must addition to the wardrobe.
It has a perfect length – could be worn with jeans as a jumper and as a knitted dress with thick tights for a more wintery feel. It is those kind of clothes that make me excited about fast approaching autumn!
